The Development Of Modern European Trams

After the modern trams come into our life, it is sure of convenient, comfortable and beautiful. Between 1978 and 2005, dozens of cities in Europe has had their modern trams. Besides, the present planning and under construction of these modern European trams are even too numerous to mention one by one. Today let me introduce the development of modern European trams-Paris, France.

In regard to the Paris, France, it opened a new modern tram route T1 between SainteDenis and Bobigny in 1992 and afterwards it also opened towards southeast area as well as extended to NoisyLeSec. In 1977, Paris opened the second tram route T2, which was transformed by a original industrial railway and made great success when opening as well as the average daily passenger flow volume broke through and reached the number of 65 thousand in a few moments. Besides, the SNCF of France is unwilling to lag behind as well and opend the modern tram route T4 on 18th, November, 2006. And On 16th, December, 2006, The RATP of Paris opened and ran the tram route T3. Furthermore, the present daily passenger flow volume of T3 has been over 100 thousand people, which is one of the highest volume of modern European trams. Moreover, this route has linked up five metroes, two RER, 18 urban bus routes and 19 suburban bus routes.

Except the Paris, France, there are also many European countries which had opened their modern European trams routes. Such as Strasbourg, France, Karlsruhe, Germany and so on.
