New Double-decker Tour Bus in Fukuoka

According to the report from Asahi Shimbun website, it was said that the West Japan Railway Passenger Transport Company has announced that the double-decker tour bus will be run in Fukuoka since March 24, which is named as the Fukuoka open type top-level bus. According to the report, this double-decker tour bus is produced especially by Japanese manufacturers, the bus body is 12 meters long and 2.5 meters wide. Compared with common bus, it is more bigger.

There are 36 seats on the tour bus located in the second layer. Because there is no roof on the bus, therefore passengers can look around the scenery above three meters high. In addition, in order to facilitate wheelchair passengers, there is a lift in the bus body.

It is reported that the bus will begin to run in the 24th and the starting point is Fukuoka municipal government. Every day, it will run about ten times. The cost for adults is 1500 yen while 750 yen for 4-year-old children and primary school students.
