Are you interested in ancient costume, which looks like more luxuriant and solemn? If yes, you can fully make the ancient costume by yourself, please not to think it is so complicated, because there is almost no any professional tailoring knowledge needed, in the ancient times, people use three-dimensional tailoring skill, in other words, some clothes are wrapped on their body, that’s all.
Firstly, design the style of ancient costume that you are interested, if there is prototype, it would be better. At this step, you have to know their different colors on costume and their separated structure. Then you have to estimate how much raw materials would be used for production.
Secondly, go to the shell fabric market. As usual, the price of silks and satins which are always used as the raw material is about 10 USD to 20 USD per meter, and its breadth is about 90cm. If you are likely to make the costumes with wide robe, more shell fabrics are needed. Meanwhile, you have to consider your own body stature, fat or thin.
Thirdly, tailor the silks and satins based on the designed drawing, it is better to cut a little larger, and then piece together these different parts.
