Three Children’s Day in Japan

Do you know that there are three children’s days in Japan and the celebrations on this day are very interesting and filled with thick Japanese style.

March 3, Girl’s Day
This festival is specifically set up for the little girl in Japan. Every year on this day, parents who have daughters in their family always set up a display stand at home, the beautiful baby girl doll with Japanese kimono also put on the display stand. It is the gift for their daughters.

May 5, Boy’s Day
In addition to bless the boys health and happiness, too many coloured ribbon like carp made from paper or cloth always hang on the bamboo pole and the fastened with the golden windmill. Do you know why people do this? Because in Japanese’s eyes, carp is the most spirit and vitality animal and they hope that the boy in family like the carp, so spirit and so vitality. Therefore this day is known as the Carp Day.

November 15, Children’s Day
In Japanese custom, three-year-old, five-year-old and seven-year-old are three particularly fortunate age, therefore on this day, there is always celebration hold for these children.
