In MG cars lineup, there is always a roadster car, for example, the MG F was manufactured by Rover Group, later by MG Rover from 1995 to 2002, and the MG TF was manufactured by MG Rover from 2002 to 2005, after being discontinued for two year, the MG TF was manufactured again in China by Nanjing Auto, later by SAIC Motor from 2007 to 2011. Last year, new MG roadster car with the nameplate MG Cyberster was released in China and it was manufactured by SAIC Motor, and its coupe version released in 2024 is also known as MG Cyber GTS. Different with the MG roadster cars before, this MG Cyberster is a battery electric car.
